Named after the flowering fragrant vine, this
delightful two bedroom, one bath casita has a view of San Miguel
treetops, church spires and beautiful colonial architecture. Casita
Jasmime is located two blocks from the Instituto, close to restaurants,
shops, art and language schools. It’s a flat and easy walk
to el centro of about 5 to 7 minutes.
The comfortable twin sofas in the living room are covered in Mexican handwoven
fabric of blues and yellows. There’s a cozy fireplace in the corner,
and a small, charming balcony with seating for two to enjoy morning coffee
in the perennial San Miguel sunshine. The open floor plan of the living/dining
area is handsomely decorated with an antique hutch and dining table, with
lots of interesting and artistic touches of sculpture and artifacts throughout
the casita. The master bedroom has a double bed and an armoire. The second
bedroom is twin-bedded, again the yellow and blue color scheme of the casita
is carried out in the handwoven bedspreads. The bathroom, with shower, is
located midway between the two bedrooms. Off to the left is a large balcony
for entertaining or sunset watching, with a glass-topped table and seating
for up to 8.
Amenities include washer and dryer, TV, DVD, radio, kitchen appliances,
silver, glassware, dishes and utensils for cooking and entertaining, linens,
blankets.
There is no need for bottled water. The kitchen has a great water purification
system included that uses ultraviolet lighting state of the art purification.
Sleeps up to 4 in two bedrooms. Available year round.
Can be rented in conjunction with Casita Mandevilla
for a family / friends reunion of up to 8 persons in 4 bedrooms.
Rental is $$ 900 US per month plus maid and utilities.
Weekly rent is $ 400 US per week including maid and utilities.
